


The origin of ACQUA SANA dates back to 1979, when it was known as AQUACOLAR. An hydraulic engineer, Jean-Michel CAUX, designed and developed an innovative range of anti-limescale devices based on the use of M.H.D. (MagnetoHydroDynamic) technology.
Thanks to their powerful magnetic fields, these products were perfectly suited to regions with high limescale concentration, such as Southern Europe and Morocco.

Since then, we have continuously improved the performance of our now-patented products, in order to better meet the expectations of our clients—whether professionals or private individuals.

Our production site is located in Marrakech (Morocco). It enables us to manufacture and deliver promptly to our local clients as well as those in Southern Europe.

To protect our environment, it is essential to limit the use of polluting household products, detergents, pesticides, and chemical cleaners. Water with a high limescale content is technically drinkable, but it has an unpleasant taste and a drying effect on the skin. Limescale makes water aggressive to the skin, causing itching and irritation. In addition to damaging the skin, it also affects the scalp, which can become severely irritated—resulting in dull, fragile, and brittle hair.

Limescale also damages plumbing and household appliances. Scale, which comes from limestone deposits, solidifies when water is warm. It takes the form of white marks on drying dishes or chalky deposits at the bottom of a kettle, inside pipes and in a radiator, etc. Hard water leads to scale buildup on heating elements in dishwashers, washing machines, and on any appliance that heats water (such as coffee makers).
The efficiency and lifespan of these appliances are significantly reduced. Limescale deposits are also directly responsible for increased energy bills. In fact, just one millimeter of scale can lead to a 12% to 16% rise in energy consumption. Moreover, a washing machine affected by limescale is more prone to breakdowns, resulting in additional costs. Scaling also diminishes the effectiveness of detergents, making them less efficient. As a result, higher doses are required, which increases both consumption and household expenses.
